How our design process works.

1. You contact us with your design needs: website design, mobile website design, email campaign, brochure, flyer, ad – whatever it is.
2. We’ll ask you about your likes, dislikes, other designs you like, what you want to convey. We can either discuss this in person, over the phone, or we can email you a quick request form where you can go nuts with any details you have.
3. We confirm timeframes, due dates and costs. A deposit is required before work begins. Once we agree on everything, we’ll get started on your design.
4. Within a few days, you’ll have something to review, edit, and approve.
5. We make updates, send them back to you, and when you’re happy, we’re happy.

How much will it cost?

We don’t use templates. All our designs are completely original – and we think it shows in our design work. We operate a lean business, so you’re not paying our rent with your design project. So, while you may find cheaper design, you simply won’t get a better design value than you’ll find at ekMEDIA.

All prices are based on the overall size and complexity of the project, tailored to your needs. Our logo design costs begin at $850 and our website design costs begin at $1700 for a basic site. Don’t be shy about asking for pricing for your specific project. Just contact us here.

How long will it take?

In all honesty, the time it takes depends on you. Barring holidays and heavy workloads, we usually get started quickly and deliver designs based on your input within a week or so.

If your edits are complete, succinct, clear, and all take place in one or two rounds of proofing, we can have your whole project sewn up within a few weeks. Websites that include more than 15 pages of content, illustrations, Flash, programming, and multiple rounds of text editing will require longer lead times, but we’ll always give you an estimate of timing.

The feedback we get from clients is that our turnaround time is outstanding. We’ll strive to deliver that same speed and quality of service for your project.

Do you do rush projects?

Providing your rush project doesn’t conflict with or push back another existing project deadline, then yes, we take rush projects. Depending on the shortness of the timeline for your project, we may need to add additional cost onto the price. We can discuss that in the intial stages of the project.

What’s your payment policy?

We accept business or personal checks, and if necessary, can accept your credit card payment via PayPal. We require a signed contract and 50% of the project cost before work begins and the remaining payment before files are delivered. If you are on our maintenance plan, we will track our work done for you and bill at the end of the month. Our terms are Net 15.
