Hi, I’m Melissa Ek (that’s “eek!”)

My name is Melissa and I’m the owner of ekMEDIA…not to mention the website designer, accountant, and all that other fun stuff. I’m driven by great design, color, and things that “pop.” I deliver on time, on budget, and I nail the essence of a design quickly.

A designer since 1994 and website designer soon thereafter, I started by creating advertising layouts for a Virginia Beach-based tourist magazine, and have continued to hone my design and computer skills since then.

I also love to draw and hope one day to write and illustrate a children’s book or design greeting cards. (Actually, I’ve created a few greeting cards that you can see here.)
